Melodies of Punjab |

The College lawns eesounded with the rich melody of Punjab - folk songs, "tappe", on February 03,09.Bhangra formed the substance of the programme, The "Bhands", especially provided great mirth and rustic humour. The function was presided over by honourable ADC Tarn Taran, Mr Inder Yash Pal Bhati. The audience included local dignitaries. The guest of honour appreciated this effort of the students which touched the pulse of every Punjabi and filled the soul with pride of belonging to Punjab.

Annual Athletic meet |

30th Annual Athletic meet was organised on Feburary 18, 09.
The college throbbed with enthusiasm displayed by the students in various athletic events held on Feb 17 - Feb 18 in the college. It was a moment of great pleasure and honour for the prize winners as the chief guest of the occasion was esteemed Deputy Commissioner Tarn Taran. Mr. Khushi Ram worthy Deputy Commisioner exhaurted the students to imbibe rich moral values and channelise their energy towards creative activities.

The Annual Awards Day of the college was organised on March 17, 09. Mrs. Inderjit Gill. vashisht, Retd. Principal, a renowned educationist was the chief guest of the occasion.
Principal Dr Gurnam Kaur Bedi welcomed the esteemed guest and read out the annual report of the college highlighting the academic, sports and cultural achievements of the college. Madam Vashist blessed the students and Motivated them to discover their hidden talent and wisdom and be contributing citizens of society.150 students received prizes in academics, sports and co-curricular activities.

- The college throbbed with enthusiasm displayed by students in various activities during the Talent Hunt Function organised on SEPT. 21, 2007. Students were given a chance to show their talents in various cultural fields The contest brought forth the hidden talent of students. Various competitions of singing, dancing and mono acting etc. helped the students to boldly display the talent.

- The College organized a seminar on career counseling for the students on 25 Oct, 2007. Various trained professionals from ICFAI guided the students regarding the various fields open to them after completing their graduation. The seminar proved highly beneficial for the students.

29th Annual Sports meet held on Feb. 2, 2008.

- Annual sports meet was held under the supervision of Principal Mrs. Mohinder Gandhi. The Students participated with full zeal and enthusiasm in various sports. The Chief Guest of the occasion, worthy SDM, TARN TARAN honored the prize winners and exported the students to fight evils of the society and channelize their energy towards fruitful activities. The entire staff and the students worked to their best to make it a successful event.

- Old students of the college gathered in their alma mater for their joyful reunion. The Principal welcomed them and said that it was an occasion for refreshing the past. Old students of the college attributed their success to the values which the college had inculcated in them. A Committee was formed on the occasion to plan and execute the activities of Alumni Association.

- It was a moment of great pleasure and honour for the prize winners and degree holders as the chief guest of the occasion was esteemed M.P Mr. Rattan Singh Ajnala .The Principal read out the annual report of the college highlighting the academic ,sports and cultural achievements of the college. Around 200 students in bachelor of arts, B.SC and B.Com received their degrees. The worthy Guest lauded the efforts of the college in educating the students. The college gidha team gave a beautiful presentation of the gidha and boys presented Bhangra. The dances touched the chord of traditional folk culture of Punjab.
